Why do you want to be a part of Food&Fuel as a volunteer?

Scenario: A minor oil spill occurs on the main pedestrian walk, creating a slip hazard right as a large crowd arrives. At the exact same time, a vendor approaches you asking for help because their power connection just dropped out. Question: How do you prioritize these two simultaneous requests, and what steps do you take to handle them effectively?
