WHAT IS FOOD&FUEL?

The story so far...

Once upon a time, in a land far far away (somewhere near Reading), a sad man named Chris contemplated culinary disappointment for the fifth time that year.

“Why do car shows always forget that car people do actually like food?” he pondered, as he reflected on the soggy hotdog and undercooked onions that had left a tear in his eye. His mind wandered to some of the amazing street food he’d seen at festivals and markets around the UK; naughty nachos, tangy tenders, biblical burgers! And as the cogs turned, an idea formed.. He rose from his seat with gusto and declared to an admittedly empty merch unit, “We can do better!!”

And on that day, Food&Fuel was born.

Our Mission.

We’ve set out to do something different. The UK’s automotive and street food scenes are some of the most vibrant and dynamic in the world and share many common traits, yet they rarely cross paths.

We’ve all sampled greasy burgers or overcooked fries at shows in the past, but our mission is to showcase the passion, technical skill, creativity, and community in both the machines on show and the food that’s served at Food&Fuel.

And of course we aren’t forgetting about the ying to our yang, the Fuel. We get just as excited about an E36 as we do about an F40! So if you love your machine, so do we.

What's next?

We served up our First Course at Bicester back in April and we’re back to finish the show season in style at the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. One of the oldest motorsport venues in the country with some of the newest and freshest faces in the street food scene provides the perfect back-drop to a day of Hill Climb action, chilled vibes and a famous face or two..

Let’s do it!
